Author, broadcaster, botanist and adventurer Tom Hart Dyke will be talking about his book Englishman’s Home, the Adventures of an Eccentric Gardener, describing his life at Lullingstone Castle, and The Cloud Garden detailing his adventures in South America including nine months held captive by Guerillas.
Tom is a modern day plant hunter who follows in the traditions of the plant hunters of old. He will be jetting off to Peru in search of new blooms the day after he joins us in the Book Barn!
