Win lunch for four at the Mulberry Tree in Boughton Monchelsea

The Mulberry Tree (formerly The Red House) is a contemporary country pub and eating house with a relaxed, informal atmosphere, excellent food, wine and service. It is set in the beautiful Kent countryside, only 4 miles from Staplehurst and has been extended and modernised to offer a restaurant and bar seating 75 and a patio for up to 45.

The cuisine style is ‘modern British & European’ using seasonal, free-range and organic produce from local suppliers wherever possible. The philosophy is to offer value for money, using only the best ingredients. There is an extensive wine list that includes many New World wines from smaller vineyards, together with the more well-known names. Many of the wines are served by the glass and there is a full selection of beers, both draught and bottled available, together with locally sourced, organic soft drinks. Head chef, Alan Irwin, is formerly from the four-rosette, one-Michelin-starred and ‘AA Restaurant of the Year’, Chapter One in Bromley. He has also worked for two-Michelin-starred John Burton Race and has twice been in the finals of the Roux Scholarship. Visit www.themulberrytreekent.co.uk
